S&K Aerospace, LLC<\/a> was named the 2023 Native\/Tribal Business of the Year<\/strong> by the National 8(a) Association and HUBZone Contractors National Council. The award was announced at the Small Business Industry Awards Gala held February 15^{th<\/sup> in New Orleans, Louisiana.<\/p>\n}

S&K Aerospace is a subsidiary of S&K Technologies, Inc. and owned by the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes (CSKT). The company is a graduate of the Small Business Administration\u2019s 8(a) Program which offers business assistance and services to firms that are owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals. Organizations like the National 8(a) Association and HUBZone Contractors National Council also provide business assistance to encourage growth and success in federal contracting.<\/p>\n

Each year, S&K Technologies declares a dividend to the CSKT Shareholder which helps to fund critical services on the Reservation and surrounding communities. \u201cThe profound impact of this funding can\u2019t be understated,\u201d said Chad Cottet, S&K CEO. \u201cBy the end of 2023, S&K will have delivered a total of $71.55 million in dividend to the CSKT for their strategic use to benefit the Tribes.\u201d<\/p>\n
